　　值得注意的是，上述4条“商业推广”字样的搜索结果均加注绿色粗体“V1”信誉认证。排名前三位的3家赌博网站认证信息均为“河南爱车之道商贸有限公司”，“太阳集团”则认证为“郑州阿尔梅商贸有限公司”。但河南爱车之道商贸有限公司及郑州阿尔梅商贸有限公司均矢口否认自家企业与赌博相关，并表示对百*推广上结果并不知情。
　　关于为何违规内容会呈现在百*推广链接中一事，顾国栋解释称，百*作为搜索引擎而言，仅能审核企业资质、企业推广词条的合法与否，无法事先审核推广账号相关网站发布的内容。“因为网站的内容是可以随时更换的，百*没有提前审核内容的权力，一旦推广账号私自发布不合法内容，百*无法提前监督并禁止。”
　　在该次事件中，包括河南爱车之道商贸有限公司、郑州阿尔梅商贸有限公司在申请百*推广账户时的资质完整且合法，但对于该账号突然上线的违规内容，百*表示无法进行事前禁止。
　　但同时，顾国栋强调，对于不合法内容，百*仍有事后审核机。“该审核机制包括机器系统及人工核查。每天百*审核系统的推广信息有4.7亿条左右，约每秒5000条，首先会由机器进行判定，对涉及违规违法词条进行审核下线，可以审核掉95%的内容。剩下来5%的内容便由1000多人的人工核查团队来完成 淘金城官网。整个机器加人工团队的审核周期大约为4个小时。”
